I'd like to see the wall straight - but a wonderful shot Mark.

You can always post the others to this thread for review by adding an attachment to your comment. That would give us the opportunity to examine all the possibilities.

Wonderful capture--humorous and oddly poignant at the same time. Love the crisp textures.

Excellent observation, James. I looked though the viewfinder and adjusted for the seam in the wall to be straight, but everything else looked bad. The same was true for the horizon. I decided that the lesser of the three evils was to use the sidewalk as the level. I still have moments where it really bothers me. I figured I'd let you all (I really respect the level of work on this site) critique my final decision. Thank you.

Hmmm... tough call. Do you make the sidewalk level or the horizon true?

Did you do a level shot as well? It's that slanted part of the wall that throws it off.

The idea really comes together beyond that. The whale coming in on the walking man. Very nice.

Great use of contrast between the man and the mural. Looks almost intimidating.
