Thanks Chris. It is indeed a bit soft. The flower pedals are only about 10mm in length, and I tested the limits of my lens. I really need a macro to get this shot properly.

Seems a bit soft in the center but I think the contrast is fine. Overall a very good shot.

Great subject, but I think it could use more light on the inside of the flower. You have plenty of contrast, in fact I think that is what makes it so dark. Just my opinion. Keep up the good work. Don.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm extremely new to the digital world but I figured I'd give it a go in PS and see what happened. Yep. Bumped up the contrast by 20 (kinda alot) and it looks better. So much to learn!!!
