Hi Michele, Cactus was a good guess as they originated in Africa, although I believe there are some sub- species in Australia. From the shape and fleshiness of the leaves, they probably grow in mostly arid climate. Nice to hear from you. Kind regards. JD

Wow John ! What beautiful flowers ...Are they cactus ? I appologize for not knowing my flowers names so well... but I thought I'd give it a try. They look like they are ready to bust open any second ! Yes,I would agree on both 'proud and handsome' but definitely he is beautiful ! Happy week-end and thank -u !

Thank you, Annemette, for your comment on my comic shot of the 'Weinmaraner' dog. As it wasn't my dog I had no idea what breed it was. Thanks for that. JD ps you might like this attached cute shot..

Hi Rob. I took the liberty of perusing your portfolio B4 replying to your comment. You do have a fairly wide and varied collection, mostly good composition and structure. I also agree that it does take TIME and PATIENCE to hone your experience to improve. Good work! JD

Yes, I guess 'handsome' is a good analogy. I looked at the stance as 'Proud' with his chin tucked in as if to say....'One for....' Thank you, Michele, for your nice comment.. JD ps here's a little appreciation of your trouble.
