Hi Art ~ sorry I haven't replied to all your great comments and support.. after you showed me how I'm supposed to reply to comments I've been trying to work backwards to catch up! I love the UF site but still learning so much about all it has to offer ~ especially the many projects which I've just figured out how to enter my past images into! Anyway I will respond to each and every comment and really thank you for your time and guidance ~ which has been so helpful!! I'm further behind as we're getting ready to move in another week so surrounded by boxes(!) Cheers and 'talk' to you soon :) Susie

I'm not a huge fan of the poster filter but to each their own. I am a fan of this photo and I like the title the most. Great for Halloween! ;)

could'nt agree more with the preavious comments, excellent finish to this reclaimed slide, well reworked,. love the title,. i notice you thank rashed & cathy for their comment in your reply to stingray, they wont know you thanked them, unless they come back to this picture's comments, do you see what i mean, would be a shame to think that rashed & cathy didn't get a personnal reply from you for their comments,. regards art,.

Many thanks for your comments Rashed, Cathy, and Ray ~ very much appreciated!
Ray ~ you are funny ~ this shot was taken back in the late 70's when I lived in Alaska (I've been back home in the UK for about 12 years now).. I was scanning in old 35mm negs/slides and thought this would be a fun one to play with.. it was taken in a rustic log cabin and the grey behind is from an old stovepipe ... as Cathy suggests a cauldron would be better ~ LOL! cheers, susie

Stunning effects to this wonderful composition, the cat looks awesome with an amazingly toned eye colour Susie. The broom is all set for someone to go flying off on; I was going to add that I had heard there were a lot of witches in your part of the country but I see you are now in Alaska? By normal travel I hope sweetie, surely not by that broom:):):) An excellent composition my dear, first class work. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

The broom and the black cat. All you need now is the cauldron, or is that what is behind the cat? The posterise filter has boosted the texture and given it a nice richness. It makes the cat look wild. Cool shot. Cathy
