About	....This is the River Cat Jetty at Toowong on the Brsbane River, I like this image because of the early morning feel, the anticipation of an event that hasn't yet happened, the reflections in the water, the lights and above all a reminder of many times we all caught the ferry from and to this place during the years when our daughters were at University of Queensland and lived around Toowong and Taringa......a delightful and in parts, unspoiled area of the city of Brisbane, lovely steep streets and gullies full of old 'Queenslanders' (houses and people!) and lovely colourful, shady Frangiapani and Poinciana trees(spelling!! ....please someone).....and on it goes!

Beautiful B&W David. It's interesting to see night/early morning shots without all the colour. Harder to get a handle on the time. I fancy you could have gone a tad slower, just to get a smoother surface on the water, but great all the same.

Poinciana is perfect but Frangipani is the other word you're looking for...

Hope you made it to South Bank. Chez Laila(?)- best kofta you're ever likely to taste, and for their outdoor entertainment... a huge lizard waits in the garden for left-overs...

Yup, going home soon, to where it's beautiful one day - perfect the next :)
