I find the sky exactly the right background for those bright lights, Jim! They seem so strong on a completely dark background and this just enhances them as artificial lights in the city.
For me the thing is that there are too few of them on the high buildings, but of course how could somebody convince the people there to turn more lights on for the sake of a photography ;-)
Great work that conveys that certain feeling in city nights.
Best wishes,
Nick

I like the vertical better than the horizontal, great use of the reflections on the water. No tripod??? Incredible!

I prefer this one. There is much more depth, the benting fountain's border guides the eyes that feel more simplicity and order. Ciao Jim.

Outstanding Exposure in this scene. I also like the variety of night-colors here. I might suggest cropping out the building on the right to simplify the composition just a little. It's just a bit busy in my opinion, then again, cities usually are just that. Nice work Jim. Aloha.
