Pat, I did not know anyone wishing to purchase a D70s, so I have kept it as a spare. I find I do not use the 18-70 lens anymore either. From what I now know, I would have purchased entirely different lenses in the beginning. It costs to learn! Eb

Thanks for your impressions. Actually I just sold my D70 to Ray Vann. This helped "cushion" the blow to my wife!

Pat, this camera is a joy to own as it feels high quality. The controls are near perfect. The images seem so smooth to me and also sharpen up nicely and smoothly for web presentation. There seems to be more latitude in exposure, saturation - everything (compared to the D70.) Are you going to still be using your D70? Eb

Eb - I did have NR on. So far I have been really happy with iamges from this camera. How about you?

Pat, this is a good job considering. Seeing this result, I would not hesitate to use ISO 1600 on the D200. Do you have NR turned on? The photo, I really like and it reminds me of my daughter who was into dance prior to marriage, kids, etc. Maybe I will see my granddaughters on stage. Eb

Unfortunitely I was set on 1600. Lighting was very dim. I was about 150-feet away from the girls.

Good capture of the chorus line, Pat! What ISO were you using? Dave.
