About	Helmcken Falls on the Murtle River in Wells Gray Provincial Park near Clearwater, British Columbia (my hometown). I've got nearly a dozen photos of these falls at various times of the year, but this one with the heavy mist in the air and the deep greens is probably my favourite capture of this waterfall (463ft).

Thanks very much for the compliments and suggestions. I played around a bit with the 'apply image -> multiply' thing in PhotoShop, but admittedly, I'm a bit a newbie at PS and wasn't able to achieve any satisfying results. I settled for a little bit of burning instead, applied to the shadows in the whitewater. (see attachment)

What a shot Kelly. The composition is great and the colors really are wonderful. I think Toni's suggestion is a good one because the highlights are a tiny bit blown out. Still, there's nothing to hang your head about with this shot. Its magnificent. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Kelly this is gorgeous. One problem. The whitewater in the foreground needs more detail so it does not look pasted in. Try the multiply mode to bring the exposure down a little bit. If you need help, feel free to ask.
