the largeness of the moon is alone due to the selection of a part of the image originates them!
the image has been realized with a tripod professional that it assured much stability to the camera, obtaining one detailed image a lot that then I have been able to work,
the largeness of the moon in the photo was little larger of yours!
always available to other comparison !

Thanks Diego for giving me so much info.
This is what I've tried with succes, only a small moon.
TV 1/500 AV f/5.6 Iso 400 and lens maximum 300mm.
I was a fantastic looking shot, only too small.
Maybe when the moon is big again in your part of Europe, try this setting, and tell me or send your result.

Hi Diego,
thanks for your answer, while you have a Canon, you also have ZoomBrowser, when you click on your photo with your right mouseclick there opens a screen with on the bottom properties, you can see there all information you need about your photo.
Try it, i'll like to hear from you if it worked.

not memory exactly the used opening but it was one of highest concurred from mine 1:4-5.6 ef canon III 75-300 zoom,
it is also the moon that in Sardinia these days is nearer;

Hello Diego, fantastic shot,what a big one over here.
When I look at the sky in Holland the moon is "full", but very small, and even with my 75-300 lens it will not be bigger. Its a bit soft. What is the shutterspeed and apperture value you used?
