Will,
Thank for the comment on the valve photo. This is a very cool shot. Even without studio lighting, the lighting is great. Two nit-picks... If the the frontman would have been an inch to the left he wouldn't cover part of Chris's head (I used to work with Chris at Best Buy... small world!). Also, I would have liked it better if the guy on the left's body wasn't turned to the outside of the frame. But besides those minor points, this is great! It looks great on their website too!

I like it. Good exposure and composition and the colors are nice. I like the facial expressions...even the guy on the right...if it's who he is, gives some insight into his personality, I'd rather have that than a posed look to follow the rest. I don't think they all have to look "cool" for this to look good, and it does look really good. The expressions look pretty natural, not forced. I think it would be interesting to see what it looked like without the white lettering on the black shirt in front. That might bring the attention more to the main face and background faces. Right now the point of focus to me is the main face, then his shirt, then the guys behind.

A very uncool move to the person who rated this photo so low. There was no reason for that. I love the way the photo curves and the focus of the one guy in front and the other one in back. It is cool you got these guys to pose for you. Was it for a album cover or something? If so then it is a good shot and if not it is still a good shot. I rated it a (7), but should have hit an 8 or 9 now that I look at it again. I think it is a nicely composed and sharp studio shot. Studio lighting would probably help brighten the scene a little, but hey, it might also might make it look really fake.
Nice shot and please ignore the ratings on this one. Someone was really misguided, at least in my opinion, especially not to leave some kind of comment.

This looks like a CD cover shot... is Seven Story Drop a band? Or just some friends? Either way, I like the fisheye lens here... even though it may be overdone the bold colours and the "who cares" pose of the people has a cool feel. The second person from the left should have had his mouth closed and looked not so interested, to keep with the general feel, but for a first time shoot I think you should be pleased with this.
