About I'm reposting this picture in panoramic format. The street in front of you is Avenida Condado which turns into highway 2. The building on the left is currently the Marriott hotel which WAS the infamous Dupont Plaza hotel which experienced a devastating fire on December 31, 1986 which took the lives of 97 people in 12 minutes. When I was growing up it was my and Gasser's stomping grounds. A wonderful place to light-up some churras or pass around a moto and trip-out on Cocolo, who earlier in the day had taken several 'rucas' and whos intention it was to take several more.
I wonder if Cocolo survived the '80s.

Sal:

Fine, fine, fine panorama.
Cropping, etc. is tough unless you go for whole lot of shots, etc. Works for me.

Churras actually means excrement but, growing up, my friends and I used this Spanish word to mean cigarettes. Being a non-smoker now, it's prophetic that we chose the that name.

A lot of work and care went into this panorama, Sal. What's churras?

Hi Sal, excellent 180 degree stitch, and quite an interesting story. Not an easy stich, given the change of light over the 180 degrees either. A pitty the format / stitch cropped off the top of the Marriott, something that also happens to me more often than not... I need to ask Michael Kanemoto how he does that, he doesn't seem to have this problem... I like the image quality, though, razor sharp and very crisp. Good shot.

Cheers,

Hugo
