You sure have that macro lens figured out. This is fabulous. Even the little green viens are so distinct. You are on a roll! MAry

Don - thanks for the comment and the suggestion. Rob was wondering how I did this. I know that the two out of focus petals were curved way towards the front of the flower. Will have to give you suggestion a try and see what I can do with better focus. Jan

Looks like we got a new lens.. The macros are sure fun to work with. Your getting pretty good DOF here, just a little out of focus on the two petals up front. Try and focus on the nearest part of the subject that you are photographing as all of your depth of field is beyond the point of focus. Nice exposure Jan. Don.

Thanks for commenting Peter. Very, very few views, even fewer comments on, at least, my uploads, and uploads from my friends and associates are scarce as hen's. Jan

One of my favourite flowers is this lily. You've captured this with excellent exposure on those whites and a lovely DOF. Razor sharp details showing all the delicate veins and fine ripples on the petal edges. Beautiful colours. I've heard reds are the hardest colour to photograph but yours show beautifully here. A lovely image Jan and a pleasure to view.
Cheers - Ann :)
