> I wonder if your portfolio could improve my > backache as well...
An interesting question, for which I thank you.
Sorry to hear about your back!
I suspect that you are finding the advice you have been given unhelpful.
You are not alone!
Back problems are very common, yet in spite of that, relatively little is done to provide constructive help to back sufferers. Many back practitioners will merely tell back sufferers something along the lines of "put your feet up" (or in your case, maybe "put your back up"). For others, amputation is presented as the only option.
More often than not, this sort of advice only worsens the existing problems, while creating new problems which require ever more advanced treatment.
In general, all iatrogenic ailments can be eliminated easily, in many cases instantly, simply by stopping taking bad advice.
Always avoid toxic and corrosive substances whenever you can, as well as stressful muggings and wars, of course. People often underestimate how hard such situations are on a damaged back.
Oh, and drink plenty of uncontaminated water.
There is, of course, no harm in using your mind to contemplate a photograph, perhaps even one of the ones here in this gallery, and then waiting to see if you notice any beneficial health effects while you phone a friend.
For enhanced results, you may like to try photofrottation: print a picture and rub your back with it to relieve the discomfort. (Better not to rub your back against the computer screen while displaying the photo, as you may get attacked by angry people in public libraries.)
To obtain an effect faster, you may consider trying the aquaphoto treatment: submerge your body pain area in a bath of warm water and put the photo of your choice in the water with you.
A word of caution: if you keep tropical fish in your bath, take care not to squash any.
I wonder if your portfolio could improve my backache as well... Great picture Paul... the colours are very pleasant, and warm and a kiss, even from an actor in full make up is alwyas a nice thing to get on an early morning friday!
Ahhhh...obviously time for my morning coffee snarfing... *wipes face, nose, computer keyboard* ...you know, Paul, my sinuses have never been better since I've been viewing your portfolio. Good for the sinuses, good for the soul. Love ya'.
