I love doing product photography, and besides purchasing this old Franka for taking photos with I decided to make it part of my portfolio as well. I setup the shots of the FRanka to be as catalogue friendly as possible.
The tilted side view affords the viewer a good look at most of the important features of the camera while having the stylized "Franka" text clearly visible against a glossy yet textured leather finish. The bellows look beautifull, as it was imortant that they were clean and presentable, but they couldn't overwhelm the photo. The smoothness of the leather is captured while not being glossy. The lens has a good front spot with the german "Portrat" in view, indicating what the camera would often be used for.
I'm looking for constructive feedback on this image, anywhere I can improve, things like that. You don't have to give away trade secrets, just let me know what I did wrong or right as the case may be.
you don't mention camera or f-stop, but I would think you could have cranked in a higher aperature to increase your depth of field. My is successfully drawn right to the camera name on the side.
