About Disqualifed in Photo contests in 'Nature' for showing the "hand of man". Inspired by Locals near Lake Louise, Alberta, CA who kid tourists that the lakes are drained in the fall and the bottoms painted that color. Yes, that is my hand and thats as close as USEFILM get to having me post my picture!

Oh, so you mean that your image "Fearfull Symmetry" is not a self portrait? Once again, inspired and original.

Come to think of it Don, I was holding the camera in the other hand. My wife had gotten frustrated with me much longer ago, to be taking direction on how to shoot me. She has way too many ideas of her own on that topic!

That is quite wonderful John, what are you doing holding the camera in the other hand??? Such a clever idea. This is what I need to show club members what nature pictures should not have in them. Don.

You know I love this. Excellent idea and implementation. Well done! (As usual! :-) )

Nice idea, John, and very well executed. I'd suggest a Mark II in which a human hand is moving a larger brush across an image leaving a trail of over-saturated colours and cloned-out telegraph poles entitled "PS is BS." Just to start a quiet conversation on the ethics of image bolstering, you understand!

Thank you Ian and the other Usefilmers. I respect your work and appreciate the compliments. Having gone back to work full time I have less time to post and comment and that bothers me. My apploogies to all my friends for not being as active as I should be. - John B

You don't post photos often, but when you do they are brillant.

To bad it was disqualified in the photo contest you entered it in. It's a brillant idea.

Excellent work with shawdow of the brush and you hand in the photo.
