Words simply fail me Dan. The concept to start with is far beyond my imagination but the execution of the technique to capture such fast action is perfection itself. I am totally awestruck and offer you my highest compliments. An award winner if ever I saw one. Den

Killer shot Dan ! Very precise timing. I had to save this to my hard drive and zoom it to 200% to see the wire, now that I know where it is I can see it. You have also captured the gas coming out of the bulb. Great capture Dan. Lee

Somehow it's a creative done. interesting as the "decisive moment"s you have used for catch this event. but the light for this matter isn't perfect and hasn't dramatic role. hope to find more by you!

Great job Dan! I think if you wanted to polish this up you could PS out the umbrella reflection in the bulb. Other than that this is great.

Another great shot captured by the photogenius scientist who enjoys making a mess in the name of a top photo. :) Very creative Dan. Another hit. I expect to see them all in a gallery one day. Cheers - Ann :)

Well done Dan, WHat I do not understand is how you captured three seperate images. Thats some fast image recording. I imagine the first frame is a seperate flash exposure.
I have been toying with the idea a similar shot using a pelllet gun and firing through a switch and then into a bulb or what ever else might shatter in a photogenic way.
