Funny, I could have sworn from the thumbnail that this would be your belowed 28mm. But this is really very beautiful! I remember being struck silent at the beauty of this view when I first saw it 40 years ago. So drenched in tragic history, too. Did you get a recent note from me, John? I think you may have deleted it as spam. I now realize that the word "fun" in the title wasn't the most helpful thing to include...

Thanks Jimmy, you have no idea the trouble this shot gave me!!! I thought it was uneven development, turned out to be a paw print!! Mine!!! cleaned the neg and started again, i'm glad you folk think it was worth it. Best wishes john.

I love the tones here and the lighting is superb. I also like the contrast in textures--the rough rocks and the smooth water. Very nice!!
