George,
With that big a beak and a weapon, she can be remain unruffled as long as she wants.
Interesting shot.
regards, ken.

Merci, Drilan. She does have a very solid look. A doorstop, perhaps. ;-) --g (By the way, I have just begun to try to learn French. At the moment, it is difficult to find the necessary time. But who knows? Someday I may be able to respond properly. In the meantime, thank you for your wit and all your good comments.)

La photo est bonne (évidemment) mais quelle étrange position, on dirait une pierre de curling :) ou une ancienne bouillotte pour réchauffer le lit... drilan

Very nice picture of a rather contented looking pelican, she's probably full of fish!

Another beautiful pelican photo, Markus. This time a single one. Did I tell you that the son of a former boss of mine was adopted by a pelican? the bird used to follow him, flying over his car wherever he went. The end was tragic. The pelican did not notice a telephone wire and it cut its throat. Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Dandelion a" and my "Dreaming of Jerusalem." Best regards, Rafi
