Kay, thanks for your comments on this. At first I disagreed with you about cropping it. But I've looked at it again, and I think I agree with you. The effect calls for more intimate crop on his face, doesn't it? Thanks!
I have always liked the diffused glow look- but I know many don't. It makes it look dreamy and I know I onveruse it sometimes. This one is good too- Especially for a stand-alone framed portrait. I think in this one, I would crop off top of his hair, though... to focus more on his face.
