About My first attempt at flower photography. I have to admit I'm not really a flower person and never considered photographing them until I discovered the work of Karl Blossfeldt, check his stuff out if you are interested in flower/plant photography. Fantastic stuff. My studio is makeshift to say the least, on the floor of my bedroom beside the balcony door with the shower curtain taped to the glass door to cut down on the glare. Well whatever makes it work!

I also like the darkness of this photo, enhanced by the very large border you have chosen.
