Robert, I have looked through your portfolio and find this to be one of your most effective and intersting pieces. Here you have stepped out of the norms a little more seen in a more abstract sense. Keep looking and keep playing, looking at other photos helps to find these views too. As for some of your portrait work, some are very centered with lots of negative space surrounding the subject. Finding little things, such as shapes to intrude on that space and break it up and placing your subject off-center will create much more effective pieces. I really enjoy this piece here though, keep going in this direction or whatever interests you.
