The sky is great! And Howie's version makes it nicer. Sometimes pictures do lose its detail for the light is insufficient or just too much. Nevertheless the original pic is already good. :)
Cheers.

Beautiful sky ! Howie i like you version ;) I think you can obtain it also with the "curve" modfication option of PS.

You should be able to do this in PS Elements. I havnt got elements unfortunatley to explain how to do this. Remember to check levels and try an auto levels. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Do a search on the web for photoshop elements tutorials as there are loads of free tutorials on the web. It's how I learnt to use Photoshop :) Keep shooting and having fun :)

I created two layers in photoshop of the same photo. The first one i simply run auto levels and added saturation of +8. I then chose the bottom layer and did a curve where I darkened the sky a little to give it more punch. On the top layer I created a layer mask where I then erased the lighter sky to bring through the darker sky. I flattened the image and then run unsharp mask settings of 50, 1, 5.
Hope this makes sense :)

I ike the scene and composition but for me the light looks a little flat. I hope you dont mind but I have posted a version where I did a little change to bring out the light and colours a little more. I have had to repost to 500 pixels due to size restrictions.

Thank you Samuel.

Bravo. A bientot Fabrice
