About A touch up of a double exposure, taken at the same time as
http://www.usefilm.com/image/519030.html .
A special thanks to Becky V. for showing me some tips in PS on manipulating images... I thought this one was a goner since it was reeeallly under-exposed.
I would list what I've done to it, but honestly, I can't remember... but a lot was needed to bring back the life in this one.

Taking a look at your portfolio and this image just jumps out at me. Absolutely beautiful......Fantastic silhouette image, the fading pastel colors of the sky with these rock formations makes for a fantastic image. And a moon as well!
very very well done.
My complements.
Lee
You have a great portfolio also.

Hmm, I had thought that I had replied to your comment...
This is a fully in-camera double exposure and I think that I still haven't mastered the fact that the main exposure should be longer than the moon to make it clean. Mine always end up a little muddy. I was pleased to be able to fix this though!
Thanks again for the comment, and Becky is coming over tonight so we will get back to you!

Is it an in-camera double exposure? Beautiful either which way. I do not see any traces of "desperate measures" from a severly underexposed negative. The layers of color look perfect to me.

I say go with this one, with the one-two punch! :) Just make sure you don't lose any of the detail in the moon!

Thanks so much for the comment and the favourite!
I am trying to decide which one to get made into a print... should I stay realistic with the original, or should I go with this double exposure because, as you pointed out, it adds that extra touch of mysticism.

Thanks again!

I love this, Kim - I believe I Ooh-ed and Aah-ed at the other one, too! The addition of the moon here adds a further (and fitting!) sense of mysticism to the Inukshuk! A favorite, for sure!

Very good!

And yes, PS can save a picture... ;o)

Loved the colors of the backgroud and the silhouette of the rocks!

Congrats! Regards, Barbara.

Well you have ended up acheiving a very very powerfull impact. I really like the remote mountains and sky colors making up a coherent back ground for a very strong foreground.
