I like it a lot! The cropping should have been obvious to me. I'm not as convinced about the coloring change. It takes some of the pot-apocayptic edge off. Brighter and perkier yes. Darker and more ominous no. Thanks for taking the time for the suggestions and digital tinkering!

the reflections and the sunbeam effects are great here. well done capture, erik. very effective abstract.
Hope you don't mind that I played around a bit and tested some stuff. Not sure if you like it but I think this would be an alternative.

I like the reflection of the clouds at the top of the structure, almost makes it seems as if it is fading into the sky. Would probably crop just above the shadow on the bottom right hand side. Cool shot.
