Great composition and great effect. Not a single person or a single car on the street. Dramatic shadows and dof. I like the fact that there?s another shadow on the wall.

I guess kissing that frog worked. It gave your great observational powers. Everyone has already pointed out all the great features of this photo. But I wanted to submit my ballot too, even though it's the same. A "triple A" photo.

Like the perspective here and the well defined shadows...DOF/focus/lighting/B&W are all very well done..gayle (i have a fondness for benches,too and can't remember if you saw an earlier one i did with a red balloon?..anyway,you might like it)

Nice low perspective and bold shadows.Might have been a good idea to move further around to the right ,a little,to capture some more of the other bench and to include the legs of the first bench.It depends on what you want really;to put the benches into a context or to separate them out in order to get a more abstract image.Keep an eye open for shadows they change in most interesting ways throuout the day!I'll be uploading one of traffic lights-just outside my house-in about three hours time,have a look and see what you think!Regards Tony.
