About as in...Pulled at her heartstring...this is a very small heart weight at the end of tiny chimes hanging off the balcony...it was raining and i had the zoom mounted and needed to click off the final 3 frames before getting roll developed, so this is one of those frames...i desat the background in Paint Pro8...comments appreciated

Great background for the red hear. You also did a really good job of placing the heart in the frame: Its really off-centered but it works perfectly because of the darker line in the background that leads you to the heart...

I normally don't go for images with colour elements in desaturated background as they tend to just look gimmicky... I quite like this though, I think it works well here, but I wonder if the red in the frame distracts from the heart a little? Regards :)

Hi Gayle, when i saw this i thought straight away of my photo "Bleeding Heart" and then lo' and behold, you wrote me a comment on exactly this photo :) it's amazing the similarity between the two images, don't you think? I really like these wind chime things, i don't have one but one day i'll hang one up. I find them relaxing :)
Best wishes in your direction from your friend in the alps, Neil
