John, this is a really beautiful image. The extremely wide angle works very effectively in bringing the trees and their foliage to fully frame the moon. And the alternations of colour in the trees adds to the overall impression which is strongly but not unnaturally regular. I'm surprised the moon subtends such a large angle using a wide-angle lens. I would have expected it to look a lot smaller against the leaves/trees. It does add the ideal central accent to this unusual photo.
