Excellent shot and unique as well.
It has the look of those old 20's or 30's Hollywood glamor shots applied to a cat no less. The softness really helps to accentuate the blue in the eyes.
This has got to be one of my alltime favorite cat pics.

It is very nice. I love the expression. But the sharpness. Too much blurry for my taste. The effect I mean. I would prefer it to be crisp detailed. But good work really. Especially the lighting.

not quite sure how you did this but I find it most appealing...the eye could still be a bit sharper but the shallow dof produced excellent results...compositionally it is outstanding, and the presentation excellent

WOW, superb pose and perfect use of light to shape the cat, Verna. Its eye seems to skip from the photo. Great capture.
