The macro is, as usual with yours, outstanding.
Unfortunately the news about my wife is not good. Two drugs have proved to be useless. She is now candidate for an operation the purpose of which is to glue the lung to the chest wall, to prevent accumulation of fluids that had prevented the lung from expanding. After that, a third drug, which we hope, for once, to be effective.
THank you for your comment. That photo was taken when cancer was not even a bad thought.

Another very very good study of the small world of insects in all its vivid (an unusual) coloring, Dave. Not as perfect as the previous one, as there is some starting loss of focus (only starting!!!) for example on the contours of its back leg, or on the antennae, but here it is the exteme contrast netween the highlights of the flower and the insect itself that play the biggest role. BTW, a good idea to keep most of the flwoer out of focus. The insect turns to a real good protagonist this way!

Excellent details, wonderful tones and a perfect bokeh to this lovely nature study my dear Dave. Assuming even beetles eat the pollen this one is a bit of a messy eater . Well done my friend, great macro photography. My very best wishes to you as always.......Ray
