I think you are good with making people feel comfortable, which is essential for successful modeling sessions, in my opinion. So many people are made to feel uncomfortable by the photographer and it shows in the pics. Yours show that the subjects can be themselves around you and aren't put off by the camera. That is a great thing! Let's see...I don't mind the hands so much, but I think I would like her arm/elbow in the frame...maybe one step back? In all, good pic. Her face is just slightly blurry, if that is the right word, but I really think that effect may be the processing you use. You should try professional processing sometime for a roll, maybe, just to see ...just a suggestion...you may be surprised at the difference.
Kelly, this is quite well done. The one thing I would change is the hands. He's hiding his hand and she is covering one of hers... It's mostly a nitpick, but full hands are usually better to see... Just my opinion though...
