Ok shot! however a smaller apature would have almost blacked out the very distracting background :-)

Nice shot Kelly. The center flower look good but the background needs some work. In macro photography you should try to minimize the background competing with the main subject. In this image the center flower seems to blend into the background and not stand out on its own. Remember that backgrounds in macros carry equal importance with the main subject, keep shooting and good luck.

The main flower is fighting with the background (IMO).. maybe open the lens a bit more to blur out the backgound more. It's very hard to capture all the details in white objects...Bill
