Nice pose. Good looking model. The missing hand detracts from this picture, and the face could have been a little brighter.

Nice picture, but a little too dark around her face and hair, and too bad you cut off her hand.

Kelly,
Your poses are good, however you cut her hand off. If you would have come around more to camera right and shot more towards the other wall, it would not look so awkward. Having her thumb hooked into the hammer loop of her shorts looks very natural. I like that. Just move a little. Left and right, up and down, forward and back. I think her smile looks like she is trying to keep from laughing, did you tell her a dirty joke? Keep it up Kelly!
Later my friend,
Russ

the shot composition and light is good.. however you got a mix of bad colors.. so it must be your scan. I am assuming you used a flatbed scanner. you need to improve sharpness.. my reasoning as why the lighting is good, is the darker or shadowy portions are properly exposed..

This scan looks better. I think some bounce flash in the corner would've been good and maybe made her hair stand out more as that corner as is is a bit shadowy. I like the pose. She seems very relaxed and has a natural-looking smile. Your subjects seem comfortable with you, which is definitely a good thing. I think if you had stepped back a bit and gotten the other hand in, it would've improved it too.
