About I think the tilt is appropriate here. Anyway, I'd be glad for any comments considering that or anythig else on the image.

Thank you very much, Yen!

If I got you right, I should tell you something about a good scanner? Well, I use the Epson Perfection V700 Photo with the SilverFast software and for me it works very very well. For a very good review you can read the test results at http://www.photo-i.co.uk/Reviews/interactive/Epson%20V700/page_1.htm - pages and pages of well written material and very resonable tests.

Hope it helped,

Nick

I amk glad that yo say that, Andre. It is one of my more "personal" ones, and so you know... you always have to battle with the idea that you "extend" your own mood to something that is perhaps not as "universal" as you think.

Have all best possible times, and never let them be less that that!

Cheers!

I also find it better than the other one, Indranil! So I am glad if you this the same way.

Cheers!

OK, thanks a lot Harry!

We want to keep an exact way of using definitions, ey? ;-)

Thanks a lot, Aziz!

Just for taking a look of what it would look like under a rotation of 20°, I... rotated it 20°. ;-) And I also had to clone here and there for getting rid of the empty spaces. Perhaps I'll try it this way some day.

Cheers!

Rotated 20° right (and cloned the resulting gaps) for getting an impression of Aziz's idea

Hi Nick,
Yes the tilt is perfect! It sets the mood, the way the title suggests.
Anyway, don't drink too much over the holidays :) Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

I really like the framing overhere. Great crop. Excellent capture Nick. To me it is better than other scotch glass photograph.

Best Regards!

Thanks a lot for the noce comment, Dave!

As I also asked Harry, with "crop" you mean the framing? I don't crop off anything here. It was the framing itself - what I included in my viewfidner while shooting.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Harry!

With "crop" you must mean the framing I assume? I ask because I dodn't cropped that afterwards.

Cheers!

The abstract is great ! ..
I personally prefer either tilting more ( e.g. 20 deg. +}so that it would be clear on the level of the wine or not tilting !
Very well done.
