Thank you, Mohamed. That is a field I pass on my way to work every day, and have always wanted to shoot there. I can't wait to go do it again.

Yeah, I was really happy with this shot. I wanted the grass to be taller than it was, so I just had her kneel down to get the look I was after.

A very nice shot. Having the subject off centre and all this open space to the right side works well for the photo. It could have not turned out so well, but because of her leaning, it balances the photo out. You've done a good job of using DOF to prevent the grass from becoming too dristracting. However, I do think the single blad of grass ( or whatve it is) in front of her face is a bit dristracting. But it's not a train-smash. Cheers Ian

LOL! Thank you for that reminder, Pradeep. Yes, just a few years since I've moved up to the 20D and despite shutter failure and a trip back to Canon, my 20D is still my 'Cammy'. What photo funds I do earn go toward lights (this was shot with an alien bee 400 and softbox) and lenses. I am still so very content with my 20D performance that I have little urge to get BBF camera (bigger, better, faster).
I have immersed myself into fashion and portraiture and I am LOVING it, Pradeep.
Please drop me an e-mail at photo.tx@gmail.com so we can catch up.

Wow Paul! Who are all these models? The last time I checked out your portfolio a few years ago you had just gotten the 20D and were the envy of all of us mere mortals. However, even with that "to die for 20D" all you could think of to shoot was the side of a truck. Remember? lol
So, I am glad to see you finally putting your camera to good use. I picked up a 10D earlier this year (essentially for free) and then sold it and bought a 30D. I love it! It seems my next camera will be either a 50D or a 5D Mark II. The pace of upgrades in this digital world is astonishing!

This is a very interesting photo in an unusual setting. I love how she blends into the tall grass. And, with her fair skin and red hair she looks like a tigress out on the prowl in the African Savannah.
Well done my friend!!!
