Don't worry about it, Dave, it happens to me as well, and the moderators won't ever explain how or why this happens.

Honestly, I use the rating system as both an evaluation of the shot, and also as a bookmark so I can quickly see if I've commented on this shot before. ;) Thanks for the warm words, Dave. That means more to me than some *clearly* arbitrary numeric value, man.

"You have already rated this image a 7."

That really chaps my butt... I give you a 7 and your perfect score goes down... sheesh, sorry about that......... sure wish Usefilm wouldn't do that.... oh well.

Rather refreshing through the unusual angle and a somewhat 1970s retro-look. To tell you the truth I am not really sure why it looks that way to me. Perhaps the coloring, or her hair, pose, or even her dress. Must be a mixture of those things together with her pose that reminds me of the old fashion magazines that my mother and aunt were reading so long ago.

Anyway, the reflection of the light and the shadows on her make the plasticity of the image very strong. At the same time there is some kind of almost undefinable softness, and this puzzles me a lot. The details are very good but they act in a softer way in my perception. Was that the used light or anything additional?

Great image once again!

Cheers!

Nick

She's pretty new to modeling, and we had a limited amount of time to shoot, so yeah, it could have been better. Shoots like that have potential, but usually are much better on a subsequent session.

Fantastic work once again Paul. Wonderfully composed, perfect balance! She doesn't seem as comfortable/confident with herself as some of your other models-but nonetheless beautiful:)

LOL! Yes, getting close with an ultra-wide lens can create some interesting emotion.
