Good boy! ;-)

You are very welcome Paul! And I thank you for puting me in the right direction of *not* cloning the arm off.

Cheers!

Nick

Yeah, I think you're right, Nick. Shifting that arm closer to her bottom and then tightening that left edge seems best of all.

thanks for your work. ;)

That's what I meant by saying "to shift the leftmost arm into attachment". What about it?

I find it much better than to completely leave the arms out of the image now! So you put me into a much more interesting path regarding the image. Thanks a lot for that, Paul!

Cheers!

Moved leftmost arm nearer the body

Nick Karagiaouroglou Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:127263} 7/6/2008
Good idea! I cloned that off for you (attachment, say thanks for my work! ;-)) and it does change much, though also in some different way than I thought of. For me the cloning lets me "expect something" at that place. Perhaps because of the certain "unbalance" that is generated, I don't know. Anyway your idea brought me on another path - what if not cloning that arm off but rather shifting it into "attachment"? I try that out and attach the result in my next message right away.

Cheers!

Paul, great figural composition, it's like from a different category. Well perceived and done. Cheers, NJ

You know, Nick, I had debated cloning out that left-most arm, as it was hanging 'unattached'.
I may try that.

Different than many of your "classical" model images, Paul, but with the same care of capturing. I am amazed to see contours even where the black silhouettes of the legs are crossing each other! The strong contrast between darkness and light adds power but it is controlled power! The additional details on some parts of the leg make it different than a completely "black silhouette on white background" - we have plasticity here.

I find the composition very well matching the light. I am only not as sure about the top - perhaps if they would keep their arms up.. could that help?

Cheers!

Nick
