Wolf. thanks for kind words and thoughts. I think some of these images are stronger than drugs. I was really struck by this one when I downloaded it and saw the crosses staring back at me. The sun was so bright when I was shooting this I did all I could not to go blind.
Be well, Stan

Hope your eyes and brain have recovered.
Now I start trembling and feeling desoriented looking at this.
This stuff works stronger than LSD, i assume ;-)

Gary thanks for the input. Actually the crosses were in the color version but the color was washed out by the sun angle. the object was silver galvanized metal and was almost black and white any way. Thanks for the interst. Be well, Stan

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Well spotted, Stan. It would be a good abstract even without the loaded meaning. It's hard to say whether mono is best for this image. I suspect keeping colour might lose the crosses, in which case it has to be mono.
Regards, Gary

A very abstract shot, Stan, and an interesting effect as you scroll up and down the image.

Hi, Stan, looking at your photo also your concerns seems a double game to me! I have expressed my opinion and also explain to you that have nothing to do with your grand daughter, despite my true honest replies of your progress also characterize you as classy now I see you try to draw sympathy like others, I should have never place a
Comment to you or Julie because QUALITY OF LIFE it’s not on the mouth ITS HOW YOU PRESENTED overall it has become my big lesson by giving attention to the wrong people… It’s my fault! I HOPPE OTHER GREAT PHOTOGRAPHERS TO SEE WHAT THEY DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE THEY SOLD THEIR SOULS AND QUALITYS FOR SWEET COMMENTS!!!!!

Thanks Julie, I appreciate your point of view and understanding. I looked at Harry L's work and it is cold and lifeless. It is fine if you are into very still life, but I refuse to grow up and not enjoy the ride. I have never let the little stuff get to me, it just kind of caught me out of the blue. I was over it but the taste was still not cleansed from my pallet. I will not let you down, more gems to come!
Be well my fiend, Stan

I have had my share with Harry L as well Stan. Don't let it get to you. I am convinced some people just can't see the light side of life and take everything too seriously. I have learned that sweating the small stuff doesn't take you anywhere. Don't you dare let that bother you, I will go there and shake that out of you :)
Keep up the good work my friend, you and I are starters and have lots to learn and practice is the way to go. Keep on shooting!
Hugs,
Julie.

Thanks Julie, I felt minimal yesterday after Harry L spanked me for posting a picture of my granddaughter in a swing. Said this was not the place for family photos. I was not in the know of the content regulations, thought that children category meant that. Thanks for the kind comment.
Be well, Stan

Jen, Any time I catch your eye and heart I feel good. Your comments are always so positive and show your kind spirit, thanks for finding the title appropriate for this image. I did not see the crosses until I loaded the image on the computer. The sun was reflecting off the metal when I shot this. I was surprised to find what was captured. Thanks for finding this simple image interesting.
Be well, Stan

Thanks David, I appreciate that. Metal grain bin shot on an angle against the afternoon light. Greyscale conversion with not much manipulation and cropped about 50%. Be well, Stan

Excellent work, a very good abstract minimalist!
Very good definition, a fabric very well defined and with a very good prospect. Good angle of the shot. I like gray.
Very good job Stan!!!
