A great catch dear Jen, wonderful light and details, the diagonal is perfect, and the line of the wall behind him both work well to frame him, nice textures in the wall too...and I wish you a wonderful Easter holiday too dear, and of course peace in your heart always...big hugs to you!!

Photography is a great tool to bridge between religions, cultures and people. Personally I liked the photo without looking to the cloths or the religion..

My dear friend Srna, I know Montenegro is a seperate country, but you won't believe it as this is NOT in the list of Use...sorry I put it under Croatia...I went to Montenegro in 2007 and this was such a great image for me, sorry when I insulted anyone....not meant at all!!

You will not take this like something bad from me off course, just wanted to say to you my darling that he is a Muslim and he lives in Montenegro and Montenegro is a former republic of Yugoslavia *Igalo belongs to Montenegro and from Dubrovnik is Croatia :))))
In Montenegro lives Muslims, Christian Orthodox and Catholics and I was so very impressed how you chose this very image for this Day ... wonderful my Dear ... it really does not matter what nationality we are or what religion ... we are all people and have to share between us only worth and beautiful things, feelings, experiences and so many other things !!!

Latif ... he is a Muslim and he lives in Montenegro and Montenegro is a former republic of Yugoslavia and it is not in Croatia, (so you have in Montenegro Muslims, Orthodox Cristian and Catholics) Croatia is other former republic of a former Yugoslavia ...
But as Jenxx said it does not matter what nationality or what religion you are , we are all people and she really did find so very beautiful and peaceful image for her special Day !!!

Oh! wonderful angle to capture this shot, was it done spontaneously? was wondering what happened to the upper right portion, it looks like the picture was cut.
some will crop out the plants on the wall but I prefer what you did, leave it alone there.. very good texture seen because of the lighting, the direction of the light also adds depth to the image.

Great photo...
The head cover which called Tarboush (in dark red) with the white cloths around also used by Muslim Sheikh in some of the Islamic world especially in Turkey and Syria and Jordan.
I find it interesting that a Christian man in Croatia dress exactly the same of course with a tie.

Good point of view, lower and I like the diagonal 'use' of that wall here, even that plant on the wall has something to give to your frame, it's really a different and original portrait, something that I like in portrait photography...and after all these, that traditional hut gives even more! well... what can I critique on that??? perfect!
