About Another one with the usual combination of redish tones against green in nature. And another one of which I think, I should zoom a bit more in. I'd be glad for any comments.

I also like the background for its work as a hint for depth, Dave. However Daniel came up with another point of view according to which cropping a part of the background resulted into a "flatter" image where the flower seems to be more prominent. I find that also very interesting.

All the best,

Nick

Hi Daniel and thanks a lot for the nice comment, and even more for the suggestion. I thought that it was that portion that delivers some feeling for space and depth, but let me see. I attach a crop, where about the half of the left part is left out. Now the image is dominated more by the flower, but it went flatter, didn't it?

So I guess there can be at least two ways here, one of them being to put the main role onto the flower and forget about the rest and crop it of. Which means to zoom in more at shooting time. The other is to put also a certain amount of importance to the rest of the scene and zoom out.

I am in general still more for the second of the two, but indeed this time a more limited view of the space around the flower does its work also very well.

Thanks a lot agaion and all the best,

Nick

Very nicely focused and great details in this one, Nick! I like your composition against the background, too.
Dave.

Great shot with lovely details captured.

Can I suggest that the composition of the photo works better in my opinion with less of the left hand side say 1/4 to 3/4 of the blurred section, as I find this portion too distracting

Muy hermosa también y perfectamente ejecutada, no hay nada para criticarle, solo mirarla y disfrutar de la belleza.

Bravo!
