The spots are not dust, they are swirls of water that cast tiny shadows (and also stains in the sink) but not in the print (the image is digital). However I'm with you, they distract and should have been removed. Thanks for your comment.

Dario: An interesting concept and generally well executed . I notice what appear to be dust specs in your print. These divert the eye and should be eliminated. For my taste the print could use a boost in contrast so that the water can be more easily separated from the horizontal shadow.
