The title, alone, is worth a thousand words on this one! Made me laugh out loud. Then I popped the thumbnail for a closer look . . .

Great job in cropping out all evidence of the exhibit, too. Well exposed and presented!

Brings back memories of vacation near-mishaps . . .

Buckle Up!
-Mike.

haha that makes sense that it's in a museum. I noticed the huge figures in the windows and i was wondering where the heck this could possibly be and if i was really seeing a huge arm painting in a window.

Good capture. Dramatic without movement.

WHOA!
Great shot Paul!
Had me fooled for a second too. I was thinking it fell off of the parking garage untill I noticed that everything seemed to be too "in tact".
With years of watching Mythbusters you tend to know what a car would look like after falling several stories! :)

Really cool and an intriguing shot. As an accident reconstructionist, I was at a loss as to how something like this would have occurred... it had to be backed in but still, left me trying to figure it out.

So I was going to ask, since my professional conclusion was that it was an art exhibit....

And I decided since you weren't giving it up, I'd have to read the comments.... then you spilled the beans...

Good one, Paul

Dave

Now that I've seen the explanation, I feel better. Looks like it fell from a great height. Very interesting and funny (in a tragic kind of way).:)

Doesn't surprise me at all....... it's kind of like a sail boat, they'll get used to sleeping at a slight angle..... Good catch Paul

Excellent spontaneous capture. It just about
covers it all...cynacism, frustration, disappoint-
ment....and gives the sense, this is the end !!!
nice work

Sure, you are right. You leave us wondering, it is a good addition to the picture !

Paul Lara Paul Lara   {K:88111} 5/26/2007
Yes, Paolo. It's outside the Chicago Museum of Contrmporary Art. ;)

My challenge was to crop it in such a way that nothing about it being an 'exhibit' was visible.

I guess I did if you can't tell.

Thanks, Aline.
I thought the About left some allure for the viewer, with nothing clearly explained.

So it's a long weekend in the States as well as the UK. Love this shot. As someone who does a lot of driving on winding country roads these things can be the bane of my life so as my blood pressure goes up my compassion level gets turned down pretty low. Like the title too.
Regards, Gary

A crazy shot. They certainly need compassion, but that's rather funny, and very well done.
I appreciate the caustic "about" too, even explanations would have been welcome :-)

With the gas prices near Chicago, this may turn out to be a good thing....

Intriguing shot, good exposure, sharp. Wish you could have caught a bit more of the left and right!
