Oh, so now Hungarians cook well do they? We also spell the names of our traditional foods well. Hungarian is a phonetic language... oddly, English isn't... take a look at the work phonetic... ROFLOL! All that is lacking from my spelling in Hungarian are the accents as I have an "English" keyboard.

The dye is actually food-dye... and this is a very simply dyed one, not very detailed. It is just one colour with speckles added.
Some of the painted eggs I have seen are FANTASTICALLY detailed and a total work of art. If I had a camera here (digital for instant result), I would photograph one of my favourites from my painted Easter egg "collection"...
:) :) :)
Some eggs are painted with other types of paint and then laquered over. They do NOT go into food. They are only for decorative purposes...
