About Taken this morning at a commercial greenhouse. I wanted a close-up of the center of the flower, which this is. But I like the creamy appearance of the petals, too.

very beautiful macro... excellent lightning & colors. ( Glow is really part of my name ..when I adopted Glow in my paintings years ago, it at least imagined what goes in English.) Hugs,T.

Every flower is an original...this has excellent detail and good clarity...the "creamy" colors of the petals are a good contrast to the sharp detailed center...makes a beautiful macro

Andy (and others) - thanks for your kind words. I also took the liberty of doing a little "photographer's gardening." That little petal that curves up from about 2 o'clock to 12 o'clock originally went across the face of the center - not attractive at all. So I carefully moved it over and tucked it behind one of the bigger petals.

Bob, the decision to get some of the petals into the image was great. The lines of the petals all draw the eye right into that outstanding center. Its just beautiful with wonderfully soft tones and color. Well done.

Beautiful macro, Bob, with soft colors. Well composed. [6]
I was looking for the square on the photo of Jean-Luc. I found it, but is not evident on my screen. I'm not sure about my calibration.
