What a photo! The colours are astonishing as always and so is the composition. I particularly like the aboutsection though:-) It´s incredible how nature can change due to erosion, moving sanddunes, floods etc. This place looks almost like a museum of nature although the little signs of green that you talk about shows that parts of nature might be dwelling some where, but always fighting to come back when the opportunity is there. You´re very fortunate being able to have such experiences of nature. Sigh! Best wishes, Annemette

Una escena fantástica, que parece haber sido tomada en otro planeta. Me gusta la composición, y como la corteza seca del árbol nos muestra a los que un día fueron sus amigos. Un saludo kike

A great capture of nature in its most vivid colors, but also a very intense source of brainstorming. The dead trees are almost sculptures from yesterday that remain standing as silent witnesses of what has been!
Enhanced by the textures on the wood and the details on the ground, the photo continues to the depth, where some more dead trees stand, and then to that reddish/orange hill with the games of light and shadow. The blue sky is the perfect cintinuation of the hills in the upper part of the photo.
All elements seem to converge to a single mental picture: Nature creates life and death, but is does it in grace! Even death can appear in beauty out there.
Great work, Joggie!

Prehistorical gigantic animals dwell in this place out of the time. The shape of the biggest animal lays on the dune in the background. Joggie, I am bewitched by this enchanting nature, thanks also to your beautiful photos.

What a wonderful surreal scene, really striking. Awsome color combinations. As a "Critiquer's Corner" submission, I guess I'd say it could benifit by a little more sharness on foreground tree.

I think this is pretty well composed, with the overhanging branch and the 'joyful' trees under it .. the landscape in the back acts as a very good setting .. Peter
