About "Neda is the only river in Greece with a female name. According to the Greek Mythology, Neda was a nymph, a goddess of the water.
The river hides a huge variety of pictures: torrents, tributaries, ravines, heavy vegetation, idyllic lagoons, a canyon of incredible beauty, the dark cave (stomio), small or big waterfalls, arched bridges… everything is impressive!.."

photo taken in the 'Stomio' site of the river (a dark passage/cave 100m long with bats and other creatures).
i used my tripod for a 30sec exposure and covered the camera with a plastic bag to protect it from the water falling from above ;)

Was Neda related to Aphrodite? this photo of yours, Kostas, is so voluptous that I must presume she was. Well becomes a Goddes. In short, excellent!
Thank you for your very kind comment.

Wow, Kostas! This shot is absolutely compelling! The colors benefit so greatly with the long shutter speed, and the warm, milky waters pull you into a dreamy state. I'll bet it was so cool to be there, and to be able to play around with all of your settings to achieve all kinds of possibilities. I must say that this effort is very worthy of being framed and put onto MY wall!! Bravo.. ~Brad

Not that I'd ever ask you to give up your other shots, but this is a rare offering as a natrual landscape, and it is absolutely stunning. Really a gem and added to my favorites.

Makes me want more.

This is really superb surreal view of the waterfall. I'm truly attracted by the blue color of the water, the lighting and the overall composition. I wish I can be there.
