Smiling while looking at this one, as an american photo pal showed me some of his work recently, and I am determined to try myself. I wonder for how long will my battery last though hm. Marvellous lines created here, my true compliments!

This is really original. It?s brilliant the way that the tree and the slope crop the star trails. The glow also gives a beautifull gradient.
Beautifull composition and colours in the star trails.
Best regards,
Sérgio

Mmmmm, star trails... fabulous exposure... and this drunken horizon makes me just want to fall over, I can dig it, Kostas. Is this one meant to impress the men folk? --Meg--

Kostas, I don;t think the lighting frtom the city is a problem, it gives a nice progression to the tone in the sky from bottom to top. Framing with the tree above as well as the ground below works well, bit more interest and originality than others I have seen like this. What I find really interesting though, is how different each stars light is, I know that there are differently colored stars, but we usually don't see this - just yellow pin pricks in the sky. Great.

John,I want to thank you for your comment and also state that I don't have any reasons to lie about my photos! This is an original looong exposure, the kind of shot that any traditional camera with a 'Bulb' setting can perform. If your camera is steady on a tripod or elsewhere, only the moving subjects in your photo appear blurred. In my photo I mention that "The wind is responsible for some softness on the tree" and the same applies to the branches. If you want to see a 10hour exposure, you can check the first photo in my portfolio.Regards,Kostas

Well, I don't know if this is a so long exposure or an effect of PS. I think if you take a photo for a couple of hours (can any camera make this? ...) the brunches did not have all these details! I don't say all these for bad critique! My rating is 7,7,7,7,7 because if this photo is realy hours exposed or an effect personaly I don't care. I only critique the result and this is great and VERY original and for this result you have my congratulation! Bravo Kwsta!

BEautiful picture... Isn't the one with the tents also yours? Breathtaking...
Is it on the slope? HOnestly, I'd rather see flat horizon in this one.. Nevertheless great shot.
