Kenneth:
The desaturated color and the tones of gray make this a less than typical shot. There's a sense of pre-dawn or post dusk . . . The early bird gets the worm kinda' deal.
The yellow highlight in the border and signature (IMO) are a stark contrast from the serenity of the overall image and detract from the tranquil setting by introducing a hard element and color into a very peaceful scene. Again just one man's opinion . . . but I would likely have used a muted red color since the red goes well with the gray and can be darkened enough to lessen the strength of the color. . . if not a light gray. Well composed and (as always) elegantly presented.
