Thanks for the nice comment, Bill. This photo was taken on a day with broken clouds, as you can see in the sky and the alternating light and shadows on the trees. My experience with IR is that it greatly accentuates the detail in clouds. I don't know if you can accomplish that with just PS work or not. Good luck to you. And Archer is about 13 miles SW of Gainesville. Anson

Anson,
I totaly mispoke my friend, as "Mount Evans" is only 14,240 feet above sea level...
Sorry about the mistake,
Marty

Anson,
I will get off my wallet soon, but I'm going to Colorado next month on a Photo Trip with a Real Pro. We will be on top of mount Evans, which is 40,000 feet up. Burrrr! That's darn cold up there compaired to here in Texas, which has been over 100 degrees for the last several days.
I wish you were going with us my friend,
Marty

Can you believe there were about 20 cows in that barn escaping the sun's heat? Glad you like this one too, Marty. Get off your wallet and buy a dadgum filter. Your friend, Anson.

Yes, it is Alessandro, about 3000 ft in a secluded valley with no traffic and no noise, in the mountains of North Carolina. Thanks for your comment and stop by again. Anson
