Well Joggie, you do inspire. I look forward to springtime when macro creatures are about again. The eyes of the moth are amazing and colour co-ordinate with the environment. I like the way it peers over the diagonal foreground.

HI Rina,
Just read your comment on this moth....I had to laugh and send you a quick note that I also hate these things with a passion. Good to know there is someone else out there that doesn't like them. People always tease me about it, you should see me when one is flying around near me, usually at night since they are drawn to light....(if one gets in the house)...this is looking at a nightmare almost!! LOL

Great macro Joggie! I had no idea what the faces actually looked like.
Fantastic detail and composition. Excellent!

Have to add, these are the only creatures I CAN'T STAND! I can watch a spider crawl over me, no problem and most other things also, but these things flying around...I HATE THEM!!! I have all my life. (not scared of them, just can't stand them) And to think I made this a fav...LOL!

Superb macro Joggie. I'd be very keen to get into macro photography myself. It's like seeing another world. However, since I'm deathly afraid of moths, I think I'd lean toward the more 'passive' subjects... :)) Seriously though, this is an outstanding image.

Cheers
Rina
