hello,

nice use of low lighting and keeping the figure small in the frame

the side lighting brings out the figure well, showing the form and the book the child is looking at.

nice work.

hi there.

interesting framing, the two men in same outfits walking towards the outside of the frame rather than in.

i think it is pulled togeather by the ramp coming into the photo.

good flat lighting showing detail, ie we can tell who and what the figures are.

nivce work.

hi nice pic of a contented cat.

to improve it next time, you use a faster iso film.

and or use a sheet of white card back into the cats face to show more of the cats eyes.

as its what we look at first with humans.

i tweaked the cat a little in photoshop lightening it and correcting the colour a bit.

what do you think.

hi there

a interesting crop, but i think you can get away with it because you can still see both the brides eyes.

i do a few weddings myself so i will give this a go

hi there

thank you for your comment on my photo

this bird photo very good, nice mood lighting on the bird with no depth of field.

this highlights the bird well.

as well as space for the bird to move into.

keep up the good work.

hi thanks for your comment on my photo.

nice to see some one still using and getting great results with film.

like your photos i try to get them to tell a story.

as well as the good cropping, you show a nice range of textures between the woman and the trees.

which shows the woman to her best advantage, although you can see she is nervous by her spread fingers.

keep up the good work

hello thank you for your nice comment on one of my pictures.

this photo of yours is excellent, the butterfly is sharp while you have good use of "boken" or depth of field.

as well as "looking space" for the insect to fly into with great colour saturation.

keep up the good work.

very nice tonal lighting and texture

it makes the figure stand out in the mixed lighting

the trees in the middle pull the figure and house togeather telling the story.

hi nice lighting,

but if i was really picky and was to make it great not use an excellent photo.

i would do it lower down more, more 3/4 view and closer.

with landscape and portrait framing so to give mag editors more options in placement.

hi,

nice pastely colours from the overcast sky,

the wet surroundings flatten the light out more and give a good feeling of texture and shape

the twins still look like drowned rats

put it in the D mag kids comp and you will win another camera.

hi there,

nice tight cropping brings out the emotion and power of the singer.

the deliberate colour cast places the picture into a nice cruisey club type scene.

there are other good photos using the same method in your portfolio.

nice work.

hi,

ducks are animals and as the old adage that say's children and animals are very hard to photograph.

i believe they should be treated like insects, put in the freezer till they slow down.ha ha ha

so getting to the point any mug can picture a duck, but using slow shutter speeds on moving ducks is very hard.

note the sharpness and nicely caught blur.

well done.
